Ever since I was a little girl, my cute mom has made trifles. They are my absolute favorite and I could eat this particular chocolate mousse trifle all day long. It is perfect for a summer festivity, picnic or party. It’s light and fresh, yet has the richness of a decadent dessert. Absolutely no baking is required, can be made in 15 minutes and the ingredients are easy to find. And the very best thing about this recipe? It is embarrassingly easy to make, but looks super impressive. So here’s how it’s done….(see below for recipe).
Angel Food Cake
Heavy Whipping Cream
Large Chocolate Candy Bar
Make chocolate pudding according to package directions and refrigerate for a bit. Break the large candy bar and angel food cake into pieces and set aside. Whip your Heaving Whipping Cream, adding sugar and vanilla to the taste. When the cream is adequately whipped, take half of the bowl and combine with the chocolate pudding then mix. Next take all your ingredients and begin to layer, starting with the angel food cake, then pudding, then whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate pieces. Repeat until your ingredients are gone or the dish is filled.
