The holidays are here and it’s time to start to decorating your mantels! I’m working on my 2019 Christmas Dream Tree and much like my Boho Tree from last year I’m doing a pink and colorful tree.
I needed to spruce up mantel with coordinating decor and decided to made these PAPER CHRISTMAS TREES. They were a breeze to make with my Cricut Maker and I’m excited to show you how to recreate them!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO MAKE DIY CHRISTMAS TREES
Open Design Space and click on this project: 3D Christmas Trees (I edited from these 3D Tree Place Card).
Re-sized the trees to your desired size and press Make-It!
Place a 12X12 piece of cardstock on a Cricut Mat and watch as your Maker and Scoring Wheel cut and score the Paper Christmas Trees with ease.
My favorite part is that the scoring wheel scored the trees perfectly! I didn’t have to fold the trees blindly. The trees were scored and folded like a champ.
Once they were all cut, I folded the tree pieces.
After all the trees were cut (in multiple colors and sizes), I decided to work on their cute little stands.
I grabbed my wooden blocks and drilled a hole in their center with my drill.
Once the holes were drilled, I painted the blocks a metallic gold. I then set them aside to dry.
I next hot-glued Gold Lollipop Sticks to my trees and let them dry.
I then added folded Christmas Trees to my glued true give them a 3-D appearance.
You can add as many folded trees as you like! The more trees, the fuller your finished product will look.
I then placed the trees in my painted wooden blocks! If you prefer, you could even add a little glue to their base and the block to keep them in place.
You could also glitter the ends of the tree limbs to take things to the next level if you like!
