Hi friends! Rachel from Fawn here with you today and I’m excited to share this fun patriotic birthday party with you! I’ve always been envious of people who have birthdays on the 4th of July.
When I was a kid, I had a friend that had a July 4th birthday and her parents told her all the parades and fireworks were in honor of her….and we believed it!
I guess that has always stuck with me because I think of the huge celebrations going on during the 4th and how those born on Independence Day get to end their birthday with an amazing fireworks display.
What could be better than being surrounded by family and friends, dining on delicious bbq, watching parades and celebrating you AND the birth of our nation. How fun is that?!
Since I have a family member that has a birthday close to the 4th, I decided to throw him a patriotic birthday party. I’m so excited to share these 4th of July Birthday Party Ideas with you. Check out all the fun details of this party below!
If you or someone you know is lucky enough to have a 4th of July birthday, I have a few patriotic ideas that you can incorporate into your birthday celebration.
This darling patriotic banner from Grey Dot Co. was the inspiration behind the entire party. I loved the classic red, white and blue of the banner and knew it would make a perfect backdrop.
Birthday decor that doubles as home decor once the party is over is always a plus and this little cutie will look adorable on my front door for the 4th!
Using my Cricut Explore Air 2, I was able to create all of the decor for the party. Yankee Doodle from Doodlebug Design was my paper of choice for this project, the colors and patterns were so bright and fun!
The coordinating stickers from this collection were used on the party hats ( love that red vintage truck!) favor bags and the bottle wraps
Treat your patriotic party guests to handmade birthday party hats, paper pinwheels ( how fun would these be to blow on during a parade?!) and darling goodie bags. The pennant banner and bottle wraps were a cinch to make and added festive flair to the party.
I hope you enjoyed this 4th of July party and picked up a few ideas to make your birthday patriotically perfect!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a happy 4th of July!
