DIY Party Crowns – New Year’s Inspiration

I don’t know about you, but 2017 flew by for me. I know most ladies feel like their pregnancies last forever and are so eager for it to be over, but I feel like I found out I was pregnant, blinked, and had a baby! We have been soaking up all the baby cuddles with some crafting in between. So, here I am in the hustle and bustle of the holidays (give me all the gift wrap!) and getting ready to ring in 2018.

I love my Target dollar spot and the festive holiday items they always have – I mean, $3 for cupcake toppers? Take all my money, Target! When I saw these glitter mini crowns, I knew they would be perfect for a New Year’s party.

Every time I look for New Year’s inspiration I am drawn to gold and black decorations with plenty of glitter and sparkle. This New Year’s mantel is exactly the kind of holiday décor I like.

These party crowns are pretty, but I thought they could use a little dressing up with some adhesive vinyl. Adding a phrase or word made them even better for my New Year’s party; I used the font “Bromello” for my words. Don’t have a cutting machine? Just buy some fun black stickers at your local craft store. Just make sure the stickers are small enough to fit on your crown and complete your word.

Materials:
Mini glitter crowns
Black adhesive vinyl or stickers

Directions:

1. Create words or phrases with vinyl or stickers
2. Attach your creation to your crown
3. Put on your crown and enjoy ringing in the new year in festive style

Is there anything more festive for New Year’s Eve than black and gold? I think these printable party horns would be the perfect complement to these glitter crowns if they were rolled in gold glitter.

I can’t think of a better way to ring in the New Year thank with some quality crafting time and a copious amount of sparkle in the mix.
