Happy, happy New Year! Hooray for 2018 and all the hope and promise it brings with it. 2017 was a great year for Love The Day: I partnered with Michaels (designing my BoHo Christmas Tree), Chinet (DIY Backdrop for a Baby Shower), Oriental Trading (Back To School Party & Activities), World Market (cheap neighbor gifts), Cricut (Magical Unicorn Party) and others. I attended Snap Conference, the Cricut Maker Launch and the Cricut City Event in PHX and hired the world’s best assistant and contributors! And most exciting of all, I began The Backdrop of the Month Club!

The Backdrop of the Month has been something I’ve thought about for awhile and putting it in motion has been so much fun. I LOVE receiving emails from readers who have downloaded and used the backdrops for parties, showers, weddings and more.

My goal for 2018 is to take the Backdrop of the Month one step further. I would love to provide my fabulous subscribers with the option of having the backdrop printed and shipped to their front porch! I’m in talks with a few printers so we’ll see how it pans out, but that’s the plan so far.

For the January Backdrop, I decided to go generic. I designed a Free Geometric Backdrop that would look great at birthday parties, weddings, showers, or for a photo-booth. It has soft pastel colors and is SO cute in person. I think I may frame it and put it in my daughter’s bedroom.

I designed the backdrop to be 52 inches by 52 inches.
