When my sister announced she was expecting her first baby, we were ecstatic! Like OVER CLOUD NINE! We love that phrase so much that we decided to turn it into her baby shower. And because we didn’t know the gender, it was the perfect Gender Neutral Baby Shower theme!
Today I wanted to run with it and show you how to create the most perfect Gender Neutral Baby Shower Centerpiece with your Cricut Maker and felt!
These felt cloud wands are darling and can be used in so many settings.
HOW TO MAKE A GENDER NEUTRAL BABY SHOWER CENTERPIECE
SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED
12X12 Felt Craft Sheets (I love these ones)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLOUD BABY SHOWER CENTERPIECE TUTORIAL
1. PURCHASE THE RAINBOW BUNDLE
The first thing you’ll need to do is purchase the Love The Day RAINBOW BUNDLE from my printable and SVG shop!
This bundle will provide you with the ability to create the gender neutral baby shower centerpiece with the Cloud SVG!
2. UPLOAD THE CLOUD SVG FILE TO CRICUT DESIGN SPACE
The next step is to upload the Cloud SVG file to Cricut Design Space.
3. INSERT THE FILE INTO A NEW CANVAS
Insert the clouds into your canvas and ungroup them. Delete the half clouds.
Select the full cloud and duplicate. Make one cloud large, another smaller.
Change the colors so they print on different mats. I choose a dark blue and a white.
4. PRESS MAKE IT & LET THE CRICUT DO ITS THING!
Next all you need to do next is press MAKE IT and let your Cricut work its magic.
3. PAINT YOUR DOWELS WHITE
Grab your white acrylic paint and paint your dowels white. Set aside and let dry.
4. GLUE YOUR COUDS TOGETHER
Grab your Tacky Glue and layer your clouds on top of each other!
Let dry.
5. HOT GLUE THE CLOUDS ON THE DOWEL
Grab your hot glue gun and adhere the clouds to your painted dowels.
6. TIE RIBBON AROUND YOUR DOWELS
Grab a handful of ribbons/trim and tie them around the dowels!
7. PLACE DOWELS/CLOUDS IN A JAR OF CANDY
Grab your cloud dowels and place them in glass jars filled with candy! Arrange on your table for the perfect Gender Neutral Baby Shower Centerpiece!
And BAM!! You are finished! How easy was that? Easiest craft ever right?!
