Is there anything better than Valentine’s home decor? I think not! Last year I went with a Red & Gold Valentine color scheme and a few years before I went with a DIY Pink Valentine Mantel.
This year I’m decorating with red, pink, blacks and LOTS of pom poms! I decided to whip out my Martha Sewart Explore Air 2 Machine and make a DIY Valentine’s Garland for my mantel.
I’m obsessed with how it turned out and wanted to share how I made it. It was made with Martha Stewart patterned iron-on which might be my most favorite craft medium EVER!
I mean look at those polka-dotted letters. Could you just die?! They bring such a fun detail tot he DIY Valentine’s Garland.
And don’t get me started on the pom poms and felt balls. I hope this trend never dies because I can’t get enough!Â

Have you seen the collection of Martha Stewart projects? They are SO, SO darling and the collection is growing all the time. I’m obsessed with all the fun Valentine projects they have on there right now.
Press MAKE and cut the hearts and ‘love’ out with the Martha Stewart Iron-On. I used a pink Iron On for the heart and a Red & White Polka Dot for the ‘Love.’Â
Weed around the heart and LOVE letters.
Using your EasyPress, iron-on the pink heart to the red canvas garland. Let dry and peel off the plastic layer.
Do the same to the LOVE letter. Iron them on top of the heart vinyl. Let dry and peel off the plastic layer.
Thread the twine and start to string the garland pieces together.Â
After each letter add a felt ball, a pom pom and then another felt ball.
Continue until you spell out the word love and you’re done!
