New Years Eve is only two weeks away! How do you celebrate? We usually keep things pretty casual: dinner in, party games and watching the ball drop at midnight. Every few years or so we do get ‘crazy’ and host a New Years Eve party.
I thought I’d share some of my favorite New Years Eve Party Ideas to make ringing in the new years extra special!
PICK A THEME
There are SO, SO many great New Years Party themes:
Masquerade Party
First We Feast
Decade Party
All The Glitters
Hollywood
30’s New Year
Time’s Square Party
Midnight Brunch
This year I chose a Black and Gold Party Theme with star accents!
I used the Martha Stewart Black & White Celebrations Collection (found only at Michaels) to decorate my WHOLE party. The collection had everything I needed to carry out my theme: table runner, gold fringe banner, paper fans, paper plates, banners and the cutest napkins you’ve ever seen.
ADD DETAILS
I used my Cricut® Explore Air™ 2 Special Edition, Martha Stewart Machine to add small details to the party to take it over the top! I made adorable paper stars to sit on the rim of the cute champagne glasses. Here’s how I made them:
MATERIALS
Black Metallic Cardstock
Cricut® Explore Air™ 2 Special Edition, Martha Stewart Machine
Scoring Tool
INSTRUCTIONS
I customized these Star Drink Stirrers to Stars for Drink Rims in Cricut Design Space. I pressed MAKE IT and had my Martha Machine cut out the darling stars.
I then added the darling paper stars to the plastic flutes!
And that’s it! A theme and details make any New Years magical and memorable!
