Do you know the new Martha Stewart Celebrations (sold exclusively at Michaels) have a total of 10 Party Collections in all!!
That’s ten different party themes with all their coordinating Martha Stewart goodness.
A few months ago, I shared my version of the Cotton Candy Collection and today and featuring the Indigo Party!
INDIGO PARTY DETAILS
The Indigo Party Collection is all about mixing and matching playful patterns: blue on white polka-dots, white on blue polka dots and a funky flower pattern.
There was a time when patching a pattern would just about kill me over, but I’M ALL ABOUT IT these days. The more coordinating patterns, the better!
On this table I layered the larger polka-dot plates, dessert flower plates and polka-dotted party favors (with a tassel for good measure) to create a dimensional place setting that works.
INDIGO PARTY COLOR ACCENT
The Indigo Party Collection is primarily Indigo….go figure. BUT, it does accent the most beautiful coral color.
I wanted to bring out the coral in my party, so I asked the talented Confection Deception to create an cascading coral ombre cake for me.
If you follow my insta-stories, you know why I opted for a fake cake. And if you’re curious, make sure to check my ‘collaborations’ highlight for the full story!
I also used coral hydrangeas (found in the floral section at Michaels) to bring out that coral color.
I created smaller arrangements to sit on either side of the cake. Between the cake and the flowers, the coral bring a nice pop and focal point to the party.?
My favorite second accent piece to the Indigo Party was subtle, but darling! The Indigo Collection comes with a few party pieces that all have TASSELS!
Now you know I love me some tassels! I added the tassels to the party favors and drinking straws for a subtle pop.
I love that it brings in a new texture and shape!
You can also take your Indigo Party to the next level by DIYing your party favor.
I used my Cricut to make VINYL PARTY DECORATIONS?and party favors.
I love how the cute bow on the Indigo Party tin pail brings a feminine element to the party.
