We’re 2093402324 days into quarantine and I’m going to be real honest, my emotions/moods are all over the place! Every few days I’m high on life…we’re all home, together and making memories! We go on long bike rides, we make cookies, watch movies and have the best time.
Then after a few days, the realization of how long this whole thing is going to be hits me and I start worrying about summer, the fall, all those who are sick, the economy and our ‘new normal’. It’s all so, so much. I go down the rabbit hole and get in a big fat funk.
When I get in a rut, I call my wise and amazing younger sister and she talks me off the ledge. She’s absolutely amazing. The first thing she always asks is,
‘Who have you helped today? What have you done to make someone else’s day better?
I then realize I’ve been wallowing, selfish and need to get outside myself.
My latest cheer-up act is delivering friends and neighbors a few of my favorite things.
Have you heard of them before? I’m absolutely obsessed. I’ve been using them for the last year and feel like they’ve changed everything. My skin is tighter, smoother and brighter. How could I not pass that along to others?!
