It’s hard to believe, but school starts here in Texas on August 12th. I know when/how/if school starting is the biggest topic on all mama’s brain at this time. It’s caused me NUMEROUS sleepless nights myself. It’s so hard to know what to do and what is the best decision for children.
I personally am keeping my children home for the first nine weeks to see what happens to Covid rates.
While I can’t help you make the decision which is best for you, I can help your mornings back on track when you do! Introducing a School Morning Routine PRINTABLE! It’s the same concept as my Summer Chore Chart Template, but is back to school themed!
BACK TO SCHOOL MORNING ROUTINE CHECKLIST
We have been using these checklist as a family FOR YEARS and I can’t tell you how much we thrive on them.
When you children were younger the morning routine checklists had chores like:
- Make Your Bed
- Get Dressed
- Eat Breakfast
- Make Lunch
- Pack Your Backpack
- Brush Teeth
- Say Prayers
- Kiss Mom Goodbye!
Now that my children are older (11 and 14) our sheets are not necessarily morning routines, but daily checklists. They looks like this:
- Clean Room
- Clean Bathroom
- Chore of the Day
- Finish Homework
- Practice Piano
- Laundry or Dishes
- Play Outside for 30 Minutes
- Random Act of Kindness
Do your kids work well with a checklist? I’d love to hear what yours looks like!
If you are interested in downloading this back to school routine sheet, you can download it below. As always, make sure you tag me on social with #LTDprintables so I can see how you’re using the checklist!

Great educational help you can find at http://essaypapers.reviews/ as it helped me a lot. That’s amazing educational resource.
I really like this printable. Very creative. Now children are studying at home instead of going to school. So I think that they will be interested in it. Thank you!
