Hello September! September 1st, the kosher day to start posting EVERYTHING PUMPKIN! I didn’t know if I was going to make it. I’ve been craving pumpkin spice since the beginning of August. I have SO many pumpkin ideas this year that I can’t wait to share. Starting with this Pumpkin Ice Cream Bowl! This is the ultimate Halloween party dessert. I am calling it a ‘Spooky Sundae’ because guys….it’s served in a PUMPKIN BOWL.
Michaels now sells plastic pumpkins that are pre-cut and they are the coolest things ever (they also have pumpkins in ALL shapes and sizes). Once I saw them, I thought…these half pumpkins NEED mounds upon mounds of ice cream in them. And sprinkles. Always sprinkles. Thus the Pumpkin Bowl was born. I think these would be so fun to make for class, neighborhood block or kid Halloween parties. Everyone can grab a spoon and dig in! They are pretty self explanatory, but see how I made them below.
Be sure to check out all of the other Michaels Makers pumpkin ideas on the Michaels blog.
