Beach birthday diy party centerpiece

Hi friends! Rachel from Fawn here with you today and if you’re looking for a quick and easy DIY Party Centerpiece idea, I’ve got a fun project for you!

My friend’s cute daughter recently turned six and asked for a beach birthday party. And when I
think of the beach, flip flops, popsicles and ocean waves immediately come to mind. I wanted to
create a festive party centerpiece for each table for the birthday but didn’t want to spend a lot of
time and money. Your table can be party ready in just a few minutes with these cute and simple
centerpieces. They turned out adorable and I whipped several out in no time. Just add cake
and kids and your party will be ready to go!

Here’s what you need to make the beach birthday DIY Party Centerpiece:

  • Mason jars
  • Paint by Delta in Sea Foam
  • Foam paint brush
  • Pattern paper- Heat Wave Collection by American Crafts
  • Buttons
  • Paper shred
  • Bamboo skewers
  • Adhesive

Instructions:
Paint each each mason jar in a sea foam color and allow it to dry. Sand the jar lightly to give it a
little bit of that distressed look. Cut a bow out using a cutting machine and adhere it to the jar. Place a button in the middle of the bow using a glue dot.

Using a cutting machine, cut out flip flops, popsicles and pinwheels in fun beachy prints and
colors. Doesn’t this cute paper just scream summer?!

Run a bead of glue to the backside of the paper cut out and attach the bamboo skewer to the
paper and let dry. Repeat this step with all beach props.

  • Anyone else feeling the need to organize EVERYTHING!? This holiday was busy & super messy and I’ve been trying to get organized after all the fun chaos! This week I’ve decided to tackle the epicenter….my craft room/office. It’s a disaster! I decided all my craft supplies needed their own home and found the most amazing totes/bins at @michaelsstores (I’ll share them in my stories). I placed vinyl labels on all the bins and am starting to feel so much better about life. Here’s how I did it! If you are looking to organize your craft area, I’ve designed some SVG labels for you. They are on my blog! #cricutmade #cricutcreations #vinyllove #craftroomorganization #linkinbio👆 #craftroomstorage #svgcuttingfiles #svgfilesforcricut
  • Whew....we almost made it y’all. There’s no doubt that 2020 was an absolute doozy for just about everyone. Although I know the turn of one day isn’t going to bring around immediate change (especially during a pandemic), there’s something about a new year that brings with it new hope and new wishes! What are you looking forward to in the new year?! I’ve designed a full 2021 printable calendar to help you plan and dream for the year ahead. #LTDprintables #linkinbio #2021calendar #newyearnewgoals #printables #dallasblogger
  • We’re getting ready for Christmas Eve Dinner and even though it feels different with just our family of four, it’s no less magical. After starting the week off by sulking (with me being the most guilty), we decided our family really needed to turn it around. The second we started thinking about others rather than ourselves....BAM! Christmas spirit explosion!! An afternoon of random acts of kindness fixed all! Now we’re prepping for dinner with The Carpenter’s Christmas album blasting and excited for the festivities of the next 24 hours! It’s amazing how getting outside of yourself can change everything. If you’re in a Christmas funk..try it! It will instantly bring magic to your holidays. Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
