Virtual learning has been kicking our ever-living trash, so we snuck away to Utah for a change of scenery. It was just what my cute family needed! It’s given us perspective and has inspired us to keep move forward!
My mom has always REALLY wanted Pink Halloween Decor so we decided to go for it! We started with her mantel and I’m obsessed with how it turned out! Here’s how we created it!
HOW TO INCORPORATE PINK INTO YOUR HALLOWEEN DECOR
The first think we did was decide our color scheme. We knew she wanted pink, but we had to decide what other colors to add. She has always loved traditional orange and black so we decided on: hot pink, light pink, orange, black and white.
We loved the idea of pink candy corn so we designed the whole mantel-scape around a Pink Candy Corn Garland!
I designed the Candy Corn myself, turned the image into an SVG file and cut them out with my Candy Corn SVG File HERE.
The next thing I did was decide on the focal point. I knew I wanted some sort of poster/backdrop like my Halloween Backdrops of years past and went with this faBOOlous saying! I designed the backdrop in black and white so that it could be printed as an engineering print (which are only $5)!
I actually had this poster printed at UPS for $19. It is a little higher quality than an engineering print which usually means it lasts a few years.
If you are interested in purchasing the
faBOOlous backdrop, you can find it HERE!
After those two designs were created, I turned the bats and stars from the poster into SVG files and cut a bunch out to make two more garlands.
In my shop, you can find the
Wonky Star SVG File
and then the
Bat SVG File
The last thing we did to decorate the mantel was to place LARGE arrangements on either side on the poster.
We wrapped large Farmhouse White Jugs in Black and White Ribbon and filled them with the most adorable Halloween Black Sprigs and Candy Corn Picks.
I also made yarm pom poms to stick out of my smaller vases and also added them to my bat garland! I used THIS pom pom maker (it’s my favorite).
The last think we did, was paint small white pumpkins pink, black and orange to match our decor and scattered them around our arrangements. I loved how everything turned out and think pink candy corns should be a thing forever!
Do you like Pink Halloween Decor?! If you recreate any part of this mantel, I would LOVE to see pictures! Make sure to tag my on social media using #LTDprintables!
As usual, your style is GEORGOUS!!!!! Great job.
Love this! Your farmhouse jugs look ceramic? Or are they the galvanized ones you linked?
