Is it October yet?! Halloween is consuming about 95% of my brain capacity right now. I’m like a little kid at Christmas. I can’t wait for the costumes, treats, parties and neighbor trick or treating. I’m trying to decide if it’s too soon drape spider webs from the top of my house?!
It’s funny, looking back at all my September posts from years past, I always seem to create some sort of a Bat Printable, Bat Gift Tag or Bat Party Favors. One could say I have a slight bat obsession. This year, with the help of Kwik Stix, I turned candy tubes into the cute little Bat Party Favors. Here’s how you make them:
First off! I’ve TOTALLY found a new favorite craft tool. Kwik Stix reached out and sent me some of their paint Stix. GUYS…these things are a TOTAL game changer. I can’t tell you how often I use paint for my craft projects and curse the heavens that paint is SO messy.
Kwik Stix has totally solved all my messy paint problems. They are Tempura Paint Stix that dry in seconds. I’ll admit, I was super skeptical and doubted that paint in a stick form could saturate my projects. I also doubted that it would REALLY dry that fast and I thought it would smudge everywhere.
Well friends, yep, nope and nope.
I couldn’t believe how dark the paint saturated my projects. I’ve tried it on paper, a plastic pumpkin (random), wood and plastic. It coats materials super well. And it REALLY does try super quick. And it doesn’t smudge.
I don’t know what kind of magic this stuff is, but I’m sold. I had my daughter use the black Kwik Stix to paint the bat wings for my party favors and she used the Stix with ease and DIDN’T MAKE A MESS! Here’s how I used the Kwix Stix and how I made the Bat Party Favors.
