I am absolutely in love with today’s party feature theme! Jess from The Macs, threw this clever “One Year Old in a Flash” party for her son Levi. Although the party is full of fun details like a time line banner, diy party hats and circle garland, my favorite aspect of the party is the time capsule. I’ll let Jess describe in her own words.
“The time capsule was the main reason I chose the One Year Old in a Flash party. In the birthday invitation I included a gray piece of paper with Levi’s name and the date. I also included a note that said this:
Please use the enclosed card to write
a note to Levi to be placed in a time capsule.
Levi will open the time capsule on his 18th birthday.
I loved the idea of Levi having this time capsule to open when he is 18. How special for him to have these notes from grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends who love him so much. I also added his birthday invitation, a few things from the party, and a little album with the 0-12 month pictures.”
I wish I could go back and do this with my girls. Such a fabulous idea! To learn more about this party make sure to visit
