10 WAYS TO CELEBRATE NEW YEAR’S WITH KIDS!
New Year’s Eve Balloon Clock
I love the idea of a New Year’s Eve Balloon Clock for so many reasons! It helps kid visualize the concept of counting down until midnight and it helps teach kids how to tell time!
And how fun for the kids to be able to move the clock’s hand every hour. And lucky the kid who gets to change the clock to midnight!

DIY Balloon Drop
We have dropped balloons at midnight for the last few years and MY KIDS LOVE IT! It’s super easy to pull off and it creates quite the moment when the clock strikes twelve!
Every year we switch up the balloon and confetti colors a little bit, but the effect is always the same! Pure magic!

DIY Noise Maker
This is either a brilliant craft or the world’s craziest! I guess it depends what age your kids are! My kids who are now 11 and 14 would hopefully be responsible with DIY Noise Makers.
But giving these noise makers to a bunch of toddlers would be brave! I guess you’d just want to hand them out right before midnight! Definitely not at 6pm with hours ahead of you!

Paper Plate Countdown Clock Craft
Here’s another adorable clock craft! But this time, each child gets their own clock to play with throughout the night.
