I know it may seem like it’s all about Christmas here and Love The Day, but really, I CANNOT WAIT for Thanksgiving! My whole family (all eighteen of us) are coming to Austin and I am making the whole Turkey-day spread. Like whoa?! Right? I’m super excited about it. In an effort to get the house prepped, I’ve been sprucing things up with Thanksgiving decor.
I decorated my mantel, but have been looking for something fabulous for my front door. I found this wreath by the adorable Lia Griffith on Pinterest and decided I had to have it! Lucky for me, a full video tutorial how to create the wreath is on Creativebug. I signed on, watched the brief video and went to work creating my own paper leaf wreath.

Like with the wreath. Now I LOVE Lia’s version, but the color plum is not may favorite and I really, really like working with patterns. I took the class, but made the wreath my own and I love it so much! It’s GOLD!!!
