It’s not too often that I get personal here at Love The Day, but April 11th is too great of a day to not share why we are celebrating over at the Haws house. On April 11th last year, my sweet husband went into surgery with the magicians at Georgetown Hospital to remove a tumor at the base of his skull. It was the most difficult day of my life and I am so grateful to my family and friends who helped me through it. After five hours in surgery, I was told my husband’s tumor was not only removed, but it was benign and that my dear Ryan would make a full recovery. Through that very real and life changing experience, we came to realize how precious and special everyday is. So today on this one year anniversary of my hubby’s surgery, I’d like to share a little theme we have at our house: EVERYDAY IS A PARTY.
