Jingle and Mingle Christmas Party Ideas

With my Plaid Christmas Tree up, I have Christmas and Christmas parties on the brain!

I’ve been dying to throw a ‘Jingle and Mingle’ dessert night for years and decided to put a mock dessert table together to show you how easily (and quickly) it can be done!

Especially with a few tips I have for you. Read below to see how it’s done:

TIPS TO THROWING A PERFECT JINGLE & MINGLE

Frame the table with a backdrop! I’ve found the easiest way to create a backdrop is to print one! I’ve created this ‘Tis The Season to Mingle & Jingle’ backdrop to help you out! Print this backdrop at your local print shop.
It’s LARGE….4ftX4ft, so make sure it’s an actual print shop, Kinkos or UPS won’t do. If you live in Utah, Austin or Dallas I have great referrals for you.

Serve a mixture of store-bought and homemade treats and spruce them up with greenery, florals and sprigs. This helps save SO MUCH TIME and tastes just as delicious. Especially if you purchase the baked goods at a bakery.
Hang your greenery, garlands and backdrop with Command? Brand Hooks and Strips (I purchased mine at WalMart). I can’t say enough about the Command Brand. As someone who changes decor OFTEN, I use these strips and hooks to interchange?my decoration and ideas all the time. For this party, Command Small Wire Hooks held my printable backdrop in my frame (that usually houses a large quilt) and the Command? Medium Designer Hook hung the garland in from of my table. That way I didn’t have to nail, screw or tape the garland on my table, peeling off it’s paint. And if your party is in the evening, hang Christmas lights around your dessert table with?Command?Outdoor Light Clips!
