If you live in Texas, you absolutely know about HEB. It’s the world’s greatest grocery store. No really, it’s crazy fabulous. It’s always clean, has amazing products and has the nicest staff ever. And they have a really, really great holiday aisle with products that you can’t find anywhere else. I’m kind of obsessed with it. This year they had such fun Dia De Los Muertos party supplies, I thought I would showcase some Day of the Dead party ideas. My favorite part of the whole party are the NESTLE NERDS rimmed NESQUIK drinks so make sure to check out the tutorial below. They are colorful and spunky just like the Day Of The Dead color scheme.
To decorate the table, I used a ceramic painted skull, black roses and skull garlands that I found at HEB. I bought the colorful cupcakes from the bakery and topped them with Dia De Lose Muertos candy toppers. The candles and spooky webbing came from my Halloween box and the other decorations were things I have collected over the years. And the Nestle treats all came from HEB as well. It was a quick set-up, but perfect for a Halloween celebration. Thank you HEB!
And just FYI…did you know what HEB has these great demo/sample stations? My kids and I love snacking as we shop. HEB will be sampling Pumpkin Cookie Butter dip with LIBBY’S 100% Pure Pumpkin and HEB Speculoos Cream Cookie Butter in the next few weeks. Check out the schedule here.
What about you? What are your favorite things about HEB? I could go on forever!
