A few weeks ago I participated in The Crafting Chicks 12 Days of Christmas. I was assigned the task of day 4, Four Calling Birds and decided to take a somewhat literal approach and created a bird-themed Christmas wreath. I thought I would share how I made it.
Here is how to make a Christmas wreath:
SUPPLIES
FloraCraft Foam Wreath (I love these because you can pin in your decor rather than hot glue, allowing you to make alterations or a new wreath if desired).
Thick Gold Ribbon
White Glittered Pine Tree Branches
Gold Sprigs of different texture and size
Gold Christmas Balls
Glittered Pine Cones
Two Birds
Pins
DIRECTIONS
Take your gold ribbon and wrap around the foam wreath. Using your pins, pin the white pine branches in alternating directions on the bottom half of the wreath. Next pin your largest gold sprigs and then pin your next sized sprig on-top of those. Pin your two birds near the bottom, center and then pin gold balls, pine cones and remaining sprigs as filler.
