And now to wrap up Nancy Drew Party Week with my most favorite part of any celebration…the dessert. Jen of Double The Fun Parties put together this adorable and clever dessert table to coordinate with the activities and decor of the Nancy Drew Party. . The menu included chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with Nancy Drew silhouette fondant toppers, question mark cookies, lemon-favored cake pops, chocolate skeleton keys, yellow gum-balls and swedish fish. She complimented all these yummies with the coordinating Nancy Drew Printable banner, drink wrappers, food labels and 5X7 signs. Pure amazingness!
I want to thank Jen for sharing her party with us and make sure to check her out here for more fabulous ideas, tutorials and parties.
Birthday Cake
Our cake had to make two birthday girls happy, so we served a three-layer (chocolate, vanilla, chocolate) cake with white buttercream icing. Amy from Scrumdiddlyumptious Bakery piped “subway art” with mystery words on it. For the cake topper, I made a paper pinwheel from the pages of a vintage Nancy Drew book and finished it with one of Love the Day’s party circles.
