You may know Rene of Rene Takes The Cake as the genius behind this butterfly cake, but what you probably didn’t know is that Rene is just as talented at throwing/hosting/styling parties. Rene hosts an annual Wine & Cheese Open House for her neighbors and friends and decided upon a berries and branches theme this year. She contacted me early on to design the printables and I fell in love with both her color scheme and menu (add an AMAZING cook to Rene’s list of talents). Just a few on the menu items included: Cranberry Coconut Macaroons, Chocolate Goat Cheese Truffles, Brushetta with Pears Goat Cheese and Honey, Brie en Croute, and Three Cheese Artichoke Dip. Yum! And the color scheme of deep cranberry red with baby blue accents was spot on.
Thank you Rene for letting me be apart of this wonderful event. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to make it! Next year Rene!
