Small dinner parties are one of my most favorite parties to host. They are small and intimate and the perfect opportunity to get to know new people. Plus they are a great excuse to decorate, try new recipes and put together gifts for your friends. For my latest spread I went out of my comfort zone decorating with neutrals and purples. I’m typically a bright & bold colored/patterned person, but I tamed things down a bit. I found these fantastic green plates and napkins from World Market, purchased some beautiful purple flowers from Costco and made some homemade sugar cookie bars and put them in a cute polka-dot box as a party favor. Aren’t those chevron plates amazing?
For a personal touch, I added a ‘thank you for celebrating with us’ printable favor tag to the polka-dotted boxes and set them on the plates. I thought you may be interested in using the tags and am offering them as a free printable.
