I am SO CRAZY excited about this post. I am introducing the newest members of the Love The Day team! I’ve wanted to expand Love The Day for the last few years, but have had a hard time letting go of control. I had a breakthrough earlier this year and realized that in order for Love The Day to grow and evolve, I’m going to have give a few aspects of Love The Day up. I decided to give it a chance and put a call out on Instagram. I’m not going to lie, I was super worried and insecure that no one would respond or apply. But I was so touched by all the applications and overwhelmed by the amount of talent and creativity out there. Once I picked my contributors, the idea of letting go became easier and easier. These woman ARE SO AMAZING and full of so much original creativity. I can’t wait to show you their work (Alli has actually already shared this adorable ST. PATRICK’S DAY CRAFT). So without further adieu, the new Love The Day team….
ASSISTANT
ASHLEY CANIPE
I am a wife to my amazing husband and mama to our two sweet girls. I believe in dancing in the kitchen, front porch coffee sipping and that sprinkles make everything better. I believe that life is truly worth celebrating and finding small, simple and creative ways to make the everyday rhythms of our days a bit more magical makes my heart come alive.

CONTRIBUTORS
ALLI ROTH
Hi everyone, I’m Alli, founder of Partyography! Shout out to my brother-in-law for coming up with a name that combines all of my favorite things (parties, photography, and videography)! I realized I love planning kids parties with the arrival of my nieces. I’m Aunty Alli to 4 little girls, 4 years old and under (I also have one more on the way in about a month! Can’t wait!) I love all things involving kids, so finding parties, crafts and DIY’s that entertain them and make them happy is one of my favorite things! Moments big or small, I can always find a reason to celebrate so I hope you enjoy partying along with me!

RACHEL M.
Rachel believes in creating occasions to celebrate rather than waiting for them. Unbirthdays and the changing of the season are just a few of her favorite holidays. As a work from home mom her day job also includes multiple dress-up changes, elaborate role playing and excessive tea parties. In her free time she can be found scouring thrift shops for inspiration, hiking with her husband and 6 year old daughter and, of course, brainstorming her next party.

ELISE LANEY
I am Elise from Polka Dotted Blue Jay – a blog full of crafts, party inspiration, and desserts covered in sprinkles. I live in sunny southern California with my husband and our two fluffy cats. My Grandmother ignited my creative spark as a little girl and I loved getting to visit her and work on whatever craft project she had dreamt up. I am a legal accounting clerk by day (hilarious because I am terrible at math) and a crafting tornado by night. Sometimes all a woman needs is some craft glue and glitter to find balance in daily life. I’m thrilled and honored to be a part of the Love the Day team and can’t wait to get crafty with you!

BECCA ERNSTSEN
Hi there! I’m Becca Ernstsen, freelance writer and aspiring children’s book author. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in English and Spanish, then received my MFA in Writing at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
I think I first fell in love with writing as soon as I could read! I love the way well-written words can make you feel something. My goal as a writer is to get back to the way I saw the world as a kid – like anything was possible!
If I’m not writing, you can probably find me curled up with a good book or out training for a half marathon with my new hubby. I have aspirations of becoming a great cook, but for now, I’m just happy to have mastered the art of the boxed Macaroni-and-Cheese!
I’ve been writing and editing freelance for the past two years and one thing is sure – freelance work keeps life interesting! I’ve tried a little bit of everything, from editing personal biographies to writing online articles and informational brochures for medical centers. Now, I’m so excited to collaborate with Love-the-Day!

Hi. I’m Amy. I am a wife, and mother of 3-year-old twin boys and the most delicious, little baby girl. Yep, you read that right, three kids under three. They keep me on my toes and extremely happy.
I have a passion for designing themed parties, gifts, kids crafts and teaching. I find any excuse to host a party so I can create new designs. Having my nieces and nephews over to craft is one of my favorite things. I enjoy sharing my love of art with them and seeing their creativity. There is nothing cuter than art created by small hands.
I am a contributing artist for Silhouette America and love to share my designs with other creatives out there. I have recently started teaching workshops to introduce people to various crafting tools while making a creative new project. I love to teach and have found so much joy in meeting new friends through my workshops.
I love being with people and cherish my relationships with family and friends. I guess that’s why I’m drawn to design the things I do. They all involve being around those I love and creating something wonderful.
I am so thrilled to be a part of this team! I can’t wait to see what everyone creates.
