A few years ago, in my CINCO DE MAYO PRINTABLES post, I talked about how confused I was by Cinco De Mayo. What in the world is this holiday? Why do we celebrate? Are we celebrating correctly?
This year I decided to forget the why and get straight to the celebrating! Bring of the tacos, chips & salsa and all the guac! I decided to team up with Chinet to make some Homemade Cinco De Mayo Decorations to get the party started.
What I love about these decorations are how easy they are to make and how the cups end up looking like they are completely covered in fringe! My favorite! If I could cover everything in fringe, I would!
I also love how inexpensive these Homemade Cinco De Mayo Decorations are. They are made from the Chinet Cut Crystal and lots of color streamers (which are about $.99 each). So a dozen cups can be made for under five dollars. For that price you could buy TWO pinatas to celebrate!
You can find the full picture tutorial over on the Chinet blog.
As always, if you end up making these Homemade Cinco De Mayo Decorations, please share on social media using hashtag #LTDcrafts! I love to see your crafting and would love to feature you on my networks.
