Now you already know my love for the Cricut Explore. If you don’t, you can read about it here and here. Or you can see all the crafts that I have made with my Cricut here. I use my Cricut ALL.THE.TIME and consider it a must have crafting tool.
Well, Cricut has done it again and has launched a new product…the Cricut Explore One!
Cricut Explore One has the same easy, precise, versatile technology as the original Cricut Explore, but it’s meant for people who are looking for that same experience but are willing to forgo some bells and whistles (i.e., writing, scoring, and Bluetooth) in order to get a lower price point.
This is the perfect cutting machine for the crafter on a budget or those who are just looking for a cutting device. With the Cricut One, you can go party prep crazy like me! I used my Cricut to make these ‘You Take The Cake’ party hats for my daughter’s birthday party. I used the Cricut Vinyl Sampler Pack (the grape sheet) to cut the words out for the hat. The vinyl makes assembly so easy. I designed the ‘You Take The Cake’ SVG, uploaded the file to Cricut Design Space, cut out the file, peeled the letters and placed them on the hat. The whole project took about twenty minutes and I just love how the hats turned out.
If you are interested in recreating this hat or using the ‘You Take The Cake’ file, I’m offering the file as a free SVG download. You can download the file HERE.
And make sure to follow the hashtag #CricutSummer on social media to see more fabulous projects made with the Cricut Explore.
This is so cute! I love this idea. I found you via the Austin Bloggers FB page. I’ll definitely be back!
I am trying to find the svg for the flower card on the page, it is tri fold.
