I know I’ve talked about this before (like here: BACK TO SCHOOL ACTIVITIES & PARTY, BACK TO SCHOOL BINGO FREE PRINTABLE and here, BACK TO SCHOOL IDEAS & PARTY), but our cute little family has a yearly tradition that we love. Every August, right before school starts, we hold a Back To School Dinner and fill out a Back To School Questionnaire.
Everyone picks their favorite food (entree, appetizer or dessert, it doesn’t matter) and I make a hod podge meal to celebrate the upcoming year.
I try not to go crazy with the decorations, but have a tendency to decorate with bright back to school colors and props.
This year I’m using Sophistiplate Paper Plates (because paper and no dishes are my most favorite thing ever) and I designed fun name tags and a Back To School Questionnaire for my girls to fill out.
We all sit down to dinner and chat about our aspirations and goals for the upcoming year and schedule out what our weeks are going to look like.
My girls talk about their hopes, excitement and fears and we try to create realistic expectations for the year ahead. What started out as a silly dinner has turned into one of my most favorite nights of the year.
This year I created the 2017-2018 Back To School Questionnaire for my girls to fill out as we talk about our goals for the year. I’m going to tape them on the refrigerator to help them remember what they want to accomplish during the school year. I also plan to hold onto them as keepsakes for when my girls are older. My hope is to show London and Ellason how many things/goals they accomplished during their childhood.

Nice job you came up with. It will be necessary for my family to do the same. Discussing ideas for training and plans in general is very cool. We usually discuss every evening what happened to someone. Yesterday I was talking about what I was asked to write in college antigone essay, but I used this resource for this. Naturally, I explained why I made such a decision. That is, we simply discuss what happened to someone during the day.
