I am so excited to share my latest real party with you! My cute girls turn four and seven this month and we decided to throw a watermelon party to celebrate their birthday. Plus I wanted to provide you with some fabulous Watermelon Party Ideas. Why yes, I do love to throw fruit-themed parties (strawberry, cherry, lemon)! This party was so fun to design, plan and style. My inspiration began with the fabulous octagon red table you seen below created by Steven’s Custom Designs here in Austin. From there I designed a coordinating Watermelon Printable Party and went about asking some of my favorite friends and brands to help me pull the party together.
My dear friend, Glory of Glorious Treats made the amazing watermelon cookies that tasted even better than they look. Glory doesn’t sell cookies, but has a fabulous tutorial how to recreate the cookies. Chinet provided their wonderful (and oh so sturdy) Classic White products for the table and for the watermelon purses (tutorial forthcoming). The creative and inspirational, Sew Love The Day created the darling Watermelon Felt Pillows, Watermelon Felt Wands and the Felt Watermelon Mason Jar Toppers and Bakers Stock sent the party straws!

Hi, I love the watermelon cake. Two questions, did you use a box or homemade cake and icing? If so…which ones? And where did you find the watermelons to go on the cake? Thanks so much. Darling idea! A*UR!
