I’ve had a few emails asking me for some non-sugar related Valentine ideas. Now I typically don’t endorse that kind of silliness…but I hear schools are banning treats from their holiday gifts and parties. Super lame, but rules are rules so here is an idea I came up with for those with little girls. I was thinking if you had boys, you could use rope as well (is my husband the only guy who’s into tying knots??) I think that’s something little boys would like? Can you tell I’m a mom to two extremely girly girls?? Anyway, I purchased a bundle of red, white and pink hair elastics, cut a heart out of a piece of cardboard and wrapped the heart with the elastics. I then used a polka dot party straws to act as a popsicle-like stick and attached a ‘You’ve Got Me All TIED Up Valentine’ tag.
