Just after Christmas, my cute sister was preparing to leave on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was called to Manila, Philippines and  would be gone for 18 months. I was home (Utah) at the time and helped my mom and siblings throw a little farewell party for her. We wanted it bright, loud and colorful just like her. We used lots of poms, polka dot tablecloths, fresh flowers and made lots of treats for the event. It ended up being the perfect celebration to honor this fabulous sister of mine.
