Operation Shower:: A Sea To Shining Sea, Norfolk, VA

I’m so excited to share my latest involvement with the wonderful organization, Operation Shower. This is my second baby shower hosted by Operation Shower and I am officially  smitten with this organization & the wonderful women who run it. Lucky for me, cute Amy the Chief Party Stylist of OS contacted me about designing the printed materials for the shower, allowing me an insiders look at how these parties come together. And I must say, Amy is the real deal! This gal is not only the most stylish gal around, she knows how to throw a party. She forgets nothing and ensures every last detail is taken care of. I just love her and working with is an absolute privilege!

In addition to working along side of Amy, I was able to see my most favorite gal, Chris of Celebrations at Home, sweetheart Sarah of Sheek Shindigs, crafty Ebony of Sparkling Events & Design and Deanna of 5 to 9 Events. We had such an enjoyable weekend setting up this “Sea to Shining Sea” themed shower, arranging flowers, setting up backdrops (which was no easy task), cutting out all the printables, making banners, etc. It was all worth it as we watched forty expectant mothers receive thousands of dollars of gifts, a small token of appreciation for all that they and their families sacrifice for our blessed nation.
