I spoke at a Michaels panel this past weekend at Snap Conference (see Instagram for some photos). One of the questions that was asked was, ‘what are the upcoming trends you see in crafting, parties or blogging?’ I had a few answers (that you’ll see in the upcoming weeks….yay) and opinions, but one of the trends I see coming back again are Nautical parties. Especially baby showers. So I wanted to share some fun nautical baby shower ideas with you today. These ideas are all created with my Ahoy Nautical Baby Shower printable collection.
I used the nautical party circles to create DIY party toppers. I cut them out with a 2.5′ hole punch, glued them to popsicle sticks and added some polka dot ribbon.
The ‘thanks for sailing by’ favor tags were cut and tied to white favor bags with twine.
I filled the nautical party boxes with sour cherry balls. And tied the nautical party tags to yellow and white striped party bags and tied them with that cute yellow polka dotted ribbon.
