It’s hard to know how to put in words how absolutely amazing my week in New York was. Incredible doesn’t even begin to describe the Martha staff, the Martha offices, studio and the other Dreamer participants. The week was as hoped, inspirational, motivating and just really, really fun. Here’s what went down!
MEET & GREET
The night before the event, a bunch of the doers into dreamer participants met at the Eventi Hotel to get to know each other. It was so fun to meet the women behind the blogs. After facebooking, tweeting and chatting for months, it was wonderful to meet each other in person. Below is a photo of all the party gals, me and Courtney of Pizzazzerie and me with the absolutely delightful girls of Icing Designs. I just love them.
MARTHA STEWART SHOW
The Martha Stewart Show was an absolute blast! I was so lucky to meet the wonderful Adria and Maureen of AndersRuff in line and spent the rest of the conference with the darling pair. They are so incredibly talented and I feel so lucky to have been put in their group. We have some fun projects planned for the upcoming months and I can’t wait to interact with them again!
Due to our bright attire, we were placed on the front row and spent the two hours drooling over the studio, interacting with the stage crew and enjoying Martha’s wit and natural ease in front of the camera. I was called on to asked Miss Martha a question and we dialogued. It was AWESOME!
I also got to meet the charming Danielle of A Few Of My Favorite Things and Kim of The Celebration Shoppe was my twin for the day!
DREAMER CONFERENCE
The rest of the conference was just as incredible. The classes included instruction from Editors of Martha Stewart Living, Martha Stewart Food, Martha Stewart Whole Living Magazine. The MS Social Media Director, a representative from Etsy also spoke to us and Martha herself gave us some wonderful information on starting a Foundation .
Needless to say, I learned SO MUCH!
Above is a picture with me and Kim of TomKat Studios, Martha coming into the conference room to speak with us, Terri Trespicio – Senior features editor for Whole Living Magazine (she was my favorite), and Sarah Carey of Martha Stewart Food.
Above is a photo of me and Tayna of Save The Date For Cupcakes and me and Rebecca from Fresh Chick Design Studio.
Above all, my most favorite part of the conference was meeting and interacting with the amazing participants. Everyone was so delightful, fun and helpful. I just love all my new friends and can’t wait to collaborate and work together in the upcoming months!
