I’m here today with the Michaels to share how to make a flower crown with Ashland faux flowers. I am a huge fan of fresh flowers, but there is something fabulous about being able to prepare florals in advance for a party and having those florals last forever. And Ashland does such a fantastic job at making their flowers look so real! Like these crowns for example. I think they look like they’ve been pluck straight from a mountain top. If you are planning a garden or princess party, these flower crowns are perfect to adorn your little guests. My daughters’ can’t get enough of them! Look below for instructions how to make a flower crown.
If you haven’t seen some of the Ashland home décor line, it is exclusive to Michaels and is sold on Michaels.com. And it is on sale 8/2-8/8 – just check out the Big Brand Sale landing page for more details.
3 Long Floral Sprays
Hot Glue Gun
Green Floral Tape
Take your largest floral spray and trim (using wire cutters) just where the flowers end and stem begin. Loop the floral stem around so the tip and the end meet, making a crown-shape. Hot glue together and reinforce with floral tape.Take a second spray of flowers and do the same thing, intertwining the spray with the first crown and hot glue the tip and end together. Reinforce with floral tape. Repeat with the third spray.
