How To Decorate A Coffee Table with Pops Of Color

If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my super cute husband recently built me a coffee table. I’ve been searching for the perfect table for two years and have been unable to find a piece that fits my style and space. Finally, with much encouragement and prodding, I convinced Ryan to just build one for me. I am obsessed with how it turned out. He used three colors of stain to create an ombre effect and stacked the wood panels in a chevron-like pattern. And we actually used legs from an old coffee table we purchased at Goodwill. They are thick and chunky just like I like them.

After the table was finished, the next question was ‘how to decorate a coffee table?’ I headed to my go-to online home decor shop, Wayfair for some help. I met the fabulous people of Wayfair at ALT and have been a major fan ever since. I mean the site has EVERYTHING. I no longer have to drive my kids into town to pick up new dishcloths or bedspreads or coffee table decorations. I order online and wham….it’s ships immediately. My items arrived so super quick. When deciding my coffee table decorations I considered my wall colors, current patterns in my rug and chairs and what would really ‘pop’ on the table. I decided to run with a green color scheme, finding this amazing French Fruit Bucket and Angel Vase for the focal point. I added this IMAX Canister to add more pattern and a bunch of Globes to bring some dimension to the table. I finished the look with a bunch of faux flowers and shrubs because they are my favorite.
