This year Fiskars is celebrating their 50th Anniversary of their fabulous Orange-handled scissors and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate!
When I was a kid, I remember my mom using her ‘special’ orange scissors while I sat at the counter watching her make teacher appreciation gifts, crafts and scrapbooks.
Her scissors (especially her fabric scissors) were very much off limit and I remember when she took me to the store to purchase the kids in our family a collection of Fiskars kids scissors.
I’ve been a Fiskar and Orange-handled scissors lover ever since!
To celebrate a fabulous 50 years of classic Orange-handled scissors, I designed a FREE Printable 50th Anniversary Cake Topper for my favorite white cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.
To make the topper, I printed the FREE PRINTABLE (download below) on 110lb White Card Stock (I use THIS printer), cut around the design and hot-glued it to two black and white straws and stuck it in the cake. So easy, but SO, SO cute!
