Last year I worked with Chinet on six DIY Party Ideas for their website. One of the ideas was to take a fabulous Chinet paper tablecloth (so perfect for kid parties…mess and throw away) and embellish with a ruffle trim. It was an easy addition that made a HUGE impact on my ‘Easter Decoration Ideas’ table. All it took was running my sewing machine down strips of pre-ruffled trim (purchased at Hobby Lobby); two straight lines and I was done. From far away you would never guess it was a paper tablecloth.
The rest of the table was decorated with a polka dot runner, these fabulous pink polka-dotted plates I found at Home Goods, lots of fresh spring flowers and various pink and yellow sweets. It was simple, but the perfect spread for spring and Easter. Looking back at the table, it makes me excited for the months ahead!
What do you do for Easter? Do you decorate? Have a large family dinner? Any traditions?
I am a wife of one, mother of two and a graphic designer who loves to throw and style parties. There is nothing I love more than to find unique and creative ways to celebrate the most important days in our lives. Whether it be through printable products or creative diy decorations, I try to find ways to make parties memorable so others can Love The Day.
