Hi friends! Rachel here from Fawn Parties.
I am so over winter and am loving this warm sunshine on my face, longer days and family bike rides. Spring is in the air, the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming and Easter is just around the corner.
Are you hosting a dinner in your home? This Easter centerpiece would look lovely in the middle of the Easter day spread. It would also be a pretty hostess gift if you’re attending Easter dinner at someone’s home.
This is a quick and easy Easter centerpiece project and it only takes a few supplies… so let’s get started!
MATERIALS
Faux Eggs
Faux Flowers
Exacto Knife
Egg Cups
The eggs I purchased were from Michaels and there were lots of pretty spring colors to choose from. I got an array of pastels that just screamed springtime! The eggs had a semi hard outer shell and a foam core so they were easy to cut open. Be extra careful as you’re cutting the eggs, they can roll and you definitely don’t want to cut yourself! I started by cutting the tops of the eggs and then scooping out most of the foam core. Leave a little foam on the inside so the flowers will be able to stand upright.
INSTRUCTIONS
Place your favorite faux spring flowers inside the shells of the eggs and place in egg cups. You could also use sprigs of tiny fresh flowers as well. Grape hyacinths would look so sweet and happy nestled inside the eggs. Place the eggs inside egg cups and you’re all set! I found the little egg cups at my local kitchen store and thought they were so cute to display the eggs. And there you have it! A quick and easy Easter centerpiece for your dinner. Of course it would look absolutely darling on the mantle or anywhere else in your house where you’re wanting to bring a little springtime inside.
I hope you have a wonderful Easter filled lots of yummy food and wonderful company to share the day with. Thanks so much for stopping by!
