Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I’ve begun to see oodles of doilies in all the craft stores. I’m aways trying to think of new doily craft ideas and came up with these fun doily heart pouches with my daughter. They are SO simple to make, but make the sweetest homemade valentine. All you need are doilies, red or pink bakers twine and some valentine’s candy (I used conversation hearts). They are a perfect valentine for your 2-5th graders to make on their own.
Read below to see how I created them.
Also, make sure you check out some of my other DIY Valentines:
Take two Heart Doilies and place the backsides together. Thread the Red or Pink Twine in a Large Needle and start weaving the thread through the doily holes. Thread until there is a small entry for the candy. Put the candy in the formed pouch and finish up threading the doilies. Close by tying a knot. Hand out and enjoy!
