customer parties:: progressive christmas dinner

How adorable is this Christmas Table by Erica of 28th Street Photo & Gift? Erica is a dear friend of mine who recently hosted a Christmas Dinner for the ladies in her neighborhood. I wish we still lived near each other so I could have attended!

Here is the description of the event in Erica’s cute words:

this past weekend i hosted part of the neighborhood progressive dinner at our home.
it was such a fun night & i had such a blast setting up.
i used my pottery barn emma dinnerware, some darling simple red plates from
spoons and spice and finished it off with red, green & white bowls from my anthro
latte bowl collection. (it’s a good thing i have so many! wink!)
the whole entire table came to life! it was just so christmasy & fun!
i kept the center of the table really simple because i knew we would have big, hot dishes
of food to pass around & we would need the space.
i lit the table up with some candles in tall skinny votives from ikea.
& picked up some really cute napkins from target.
i knew i wanted to give each girl a simple little favor for them to take home
and who doesn’t love a little jar full of gum drops?! (one of my favorite holiday candies!)
i used 8 oz. diamond cut jars and filled them with red, white and green gum drops.
i then covered the top with the most perfect little tag from love the day.
i tied them with different ribbons to make them all a tad bit different
and set them inside the bowls!
wahhllaaa!

the night went off without a hitch and each girl had such a wonderful time.
after all was said and done i found myself doing lots of dishes, with christmas music blaring,
and smiling a big smile. it is so fun to entertain in our cozy home.
it was a great night & i love myself a good christmas get together!
