I am a HUGE supporter of sending out family Christmas Cards, but am terrible at sending our cards out consistently. I am a solid every-other-year sender. It’s my ‘sending’ year and I have already started to pull together a few ideas and design inspirations for our card. I’m still a little uncertain about colors, fonts and the family pictures, but I know I want to spruce up the outside or envelope of the card this year. It’s something I’ve never done before, but think the small touch of detail will leave a fun and festive impression.
In preparation for this envelope embellishment, I purchased a Custom Stamp from Tiny Prints. I’ve been eyeing one for a while now and decided to go for it! I am so glad I did. I am obsessed with the design (I purchased this one) and am SO, SO impressed with the quality of the stamp. They make placing the returning address on envelopes so easy. And the best part? Yes, they will look make my Christmas Cards looks awesome, but I will be using this baby ALL.YEAR.LONG! Even my bills are going to look darling!
In fact, I’ve been tinkering around with my beloved stamp and I think this is how I am going to decorate our Christmas Card envelopes. I found these adorable mini green doilies at my local craft store and my address stamps perfectly inside their centers! After addressing my holiday cards, I am going to wrap them twice with Bakers Twine, flip the envelope over and double side tape the doilies to the back of the card. I love the pop of color and texture it brings to the cards and I love the idea of the return address looking just a little different than your standard ‘up in the left corner.’ I can’t wait to send them out!
What about you? Do you send out Christmas Cards? Do you like to spice things up a bit? What are your plans for this year? Do you have any Christmas Card Ideas you could share?

I love the gold foil cards. I may do that this year!
