Butterfly Tea Party:: The Garland

I’ve received SO, SO many emails asking who makes the gorgeous ruffle garlands used in the butterfly party. I wish I could take credit, but the incredibly talented Jenny of hank & hunt is the creative genius behind the ruffles! When I first saw these garlands featured in an Etsy treasury, I contacted Jenny immediately. I had to have them!! Much to my delight, Jenny was just as fabulous as her garlands and I developed an immediate friend crush (and blog crush too). We began exchanging emails and ideas and I came to find that Jenny is just a down and out good person. She is fun and witty, has an impeccable sense of style and more than anything, she is generous. Generous with her time and her talent and I just love her.

I cannot tell you how excited I was to receive my hank & hunt garlands in the mail. I almost cried when I saw the yards and yards of ruffles that Jenny had hand dyed just for the party and the amount of time it must have taken her to create them. I remember my husband walking in from work to find me sitting on the couch hugging and loving my garlands. Really, I have an unhealthy obsession with these beauties. More than anything else, the garlands helped achieve the aesthetic I was aiming to achieve with the Butterfly Party and I owe that all to Jenny.
