It’s my most favorite shopping time of the year! There is something so extremely magical about Back To School (see, I even capitalized it) and back to school shopping. I love browsing the aisles of patterned binders, brand new crayons and always buy at least 10 new composition notebooks because they are like fifty cents.
And my most favorite items to shop for (besides the new clothes of course), are the markers, pens and pencils. There is something so absolutely renewing about a package of brand new Sharpies or sharpened pencils. It’s the potential of new projects at your fingertips. So cheesy, but so true.
Now I take my time shopping for back to school supplies because I love it so much, taking in each item. I’ve found that each store offers better deals for each product. Staples, for example, has the best selection of Sharpies at the best price. Like right now, Sharpie Fine and Ultra Fine markers and highlighters are currently on sale “while supplies last.” I actually purchased loads of Sharpies from Staples last week and thought they would make the perfect Back To School Teacher Gifts.
I arranged the Sharpies by color, organized them into this adorable jar-container I purchased at World Market and tied a “Here’s To A Sharp & Organized School Year” printable tag. I thought you may like to recreate the idea and am offering the tag as a free download.
