We are two weeks away from school starting and I have lots of fun Back To School ideas swirling in my head. These Back To School Cupcakes were one of them. Bake your boxed white cake mix (I love Duncan Hines Classic White, but add vanilla for an extra punch) and add a heavy dose of red gel food coloring (I use this stuff). Place in red cupcake liners (can buy a huge bundle here) and bake. Then top with your classic buttercream frosting colored green. Easiest Back To School treat ever!
