It’s here! Apple Crafts Week! If you read my last post, you know that this whole week is going to be dedicated to all things APPLES! Because apples…back to school…it’s just perfect timing!
To starting things off, let’s talk about these DIY Apple Gift Boxes! So perfect for back to school teacher gifts right?  I discovered these adorable plain, wooden berry baskets at Michaels a few weeks ago and knew they would look adorable transformed into apples. I took acrylic paint and painted (I used sponge brushes) the bottom of the wooden box red and then painted the rim green. After the paint dried, I filled a cellophane bag with red foiled chocolate, tied them with brown bows and placed them in the apple box. The whole project took about fifteen minutes and turned out adorable.
If you recreate this idea, make sure to take a picture and tag me on social media using hashtag #LTDcrafts!
And check out some of my favorite apple crafts and treats from around the web:
Lindi, this is adorable and so clever! Im sure all my teacher friends would love this as a gift!
