We call the day Love day and celebrate it all day long. I made a large cloth bag and wrote Love Day Bag on it. Each year I placed inexpensive wrapped gifts….toys, movie passes his favorite gum and candy…..etc. in it. Each hour he got to take one gift out of the bag. What fun he had and of course couldn’t wait for an hour to pass. Then that evening he got to pick were we would have is favorite family dinner.
My joy is now 22, gifts have changed and his favorite dinner cost a little more but the tradition continues.
