I’ve saved my favorite aspect of the Strawberry Birthday Party for last (make sure to see the Strawberry Party decorations and Strawberry Party Games posts), the treats and party favors! My talented sister, Kristi of City Sweet Shop did it again with this five tiered strawberry short-cake. Believe me it was as good as it looks! She also wowed our guests with her homemade churros (wrapped in doilies and tied with twine), strawberry tarts and my favorite, her vanilla cupcakes with butter cream icing. And knowing how much I love sugar cookies, Kristi made marshmallow fondant toppers to match my strawberry designs to go on her famous, oh so soft cookies. She is the best sister ever!
As for the party favors, adults were given little baskets of fresh strawberries and the kiddos left with a strawberry container full of red and green gumballs.
That cake looks amazing! This party was just so cute in every way – great job!
