I am totally one of those moms who LOVES, LOVES, LOVES kid holiday programs. I love the cheesy songs, the homemade costumes and I am obsessed with that one kid who loves to be the star of the show. You totally know that kid…the screamer. I just love it. And what’s a preschool or elementary school Thanksgiving program without pilgrim hats? They are a must; almost a rite of passage. A friend asked that I design her a printable of these iconic Thanksgiving pilgrim crafts for kids in her class and I was ecstatic to do so. I thought you may be like me and love little pilgrims running around, so I am offering these pilgrim hats as a FREE DOWNLOAD.
Here’s how you make them:
Download the FREE Pilgrim Hat printable HERE. Print on heavy white cardstock and cut out. Using the black strips, staple the strips together based on your child’s head size in a circular crown. Glue the brown hat band to the pilgrim hat and then the gold/yellow buckle on top of that. Glue or staple the hat to the circular crown and place on your little’s head.
